my life : updated

SCHOOL
has been really busy. I practically have a test every other day. But I like it. I look forward to going to all my classes. Maybe it's my friends that make school easier.

SAN DIEGOis growing on me. The first time I moved down here, I wasn't enjoying it. The night-life was a bore, the malls could not compare to the malls in L.A., and friends? what friends?

It's actually getting better now. It's damn healthy down here and the weather is weird but awesome. I'm starting to enjoy being down here. I'm even considering staying after I graduate. Not too close to L.A. but not too far either.

PERSONAL
life is confusing. I'm going through a change in my life and I'm at that point where I don't really know where I'm heading. There's just too many options and choices to make. I always think that "I have to choose the one that means most to me..." but it's easier said than done.

I don't really want to get into detail about my dilemma because I'm already getting confused, imagine you.

FAMILY
my mom is in the philippines for business. I miss her. I know when I moved out of the house, I barely saw here, but knowing that she's half way across the world, makes me miss her more. My sister is back at home, doing her first year of college. I'm proud of her and sometimes I kind of envy her for who she is and knowing who she is at such a young age. Heck, when I was 18, I didn't know who I was. I guess kids these days grow up faster than how we did. I swear, I'm talking like Im old.

TRAVEL
I get to go to Chicago this Thursday through Sunday. It's a short vacation, but I need it. I'm going with Ollie and our friend Nadine to visit her boyfriend. I can't wait. I get to wear my sweaters and jackets becuase I heard it gets pretty cold there. I finally get to put my winter clothes to use.

So I guess that's about it... I need to do my drug cards for my Pharm. class. I have 45 more drugs to go. Yay! I'ms o looking forward to it.

yes, i am still alive

Due to certain circumstances, I haven't blogged in like forever! I will be blogging soon, I have so many stories to share with you. But before I start sharing, I want to update my layout.

New place, new blog - NEW LIFE.

one short day...

Yesterday, my friends,Kristin, Minji and Joe, decided to visit Disneyalnd and watch me perform in the parade. It was great having people call out my name and cheer for me. They said they liked the parade and that it suits the way I dance.

So in my parade, usually there's three chefs and two mice. Its for the movie Ratatouille. Yesterday, one of the dancers didn't show up so me and my friend had to tweak the routine a little to suit two dancers. We had to work extra hard and exaggerate out moves. For some reason, it seemed a bit easier with two dancers, than three. Also, I found my I.D. I went to work extra early, and I called my scheduling and they said they found it.

After my parade, I ended up sneaking my way in the park and hanging out with them. The first ride we went on was Space Mountain. I was kind of nervous to ride Space .Mountain because I am scared of the dark and I am a bit of a control freak, and in the ride, you don't know where you're going because it's dark. I sat next to Kristin and it turned out really fun. We kept making bird noises while we were riding on it. There's a picture of the ride, it's wierd because Kristin and I did no plan to pose the same way. Wierd coincidence huh?

After Space Mountain, we went on Buzz Lightyear. That was totally fun. I suck at aiming so I didn't score as high as Kristin. She's all being modest, saying she doens't know how to aim either and look at her score. It's so much more than mines.

After Buzz, we watched the fireworks. I love the song they had because it's a wishes theme, and my sister's debut has the wishes theme too, so I'm going to try to find that song so I can play it in her debut. Watching the fireworks was kind of boring for me, I've seen it so many times, but I think watching it with a loved one makes it more special. So at that point, when the fireworks were going, I missed my Ollie because usually, I would watch it with him.

We went on a couple of more rides, like Pirates of the Carribbean, Snow White, Haunted Mansion, then Joe's stomach stomach started hurting so we ended up going to Downtown Disney. I couldn't help but buy some Disney stuff because one, I had the money and two, I have a Cast Member Discount. I can't tell you what I bought becuase I know Ollie reads this and I want it to be a surprise when he comes back. I'll let you guys know what it is later.

On the way home, me and Kris fell asleep. I don't even remember saying bye to them cause I think I just went straight to the car and headed home. I was way too sleepy.

ON ANOTHER NOTE...
Lately, I've not been able to finish my food. Like yesterday, I went to Chili's with my family after our cake tasting and I ordered some chicken strips. It had four chicken and I could only eat one full strip and a half. Then I cant finish a burger. Its just wierd, I think it's because I am so used to sharing my food. And also, I've been trying to watch what I eat and do more excercise and working out everyday.




QUESTION IS!!!!
How's it going so far? Is my excercising working? I hope it is. Does anyone have any work out routines they would like to share so I can try it. Or anyone ever diet? and How do you guys stay on that diet? Because no matter how much I try those little diets, I never seem to do it for so long. I'd like to know what other people are doing out there, so if you have any routines or diet, let me know. Thanks guys. till next time... have a MAGICAL day!

live love rock!

i just finished editing my ollie's myspace. go check it out. it's cool. its art. "live it. love it. rock it." he's sitting on the bed, on his laptop, shirtless, wearing my boxers, and as i look at him, i know he's the one. you know that feeling you get when you know something is right. your heart skips, your knees weakens, you're speechless. yeah thats how i feel right now. all i want to do is go over there and hug him *pause* ok im back. yeah he's defintely the one.

so you're wondering when JBX was first established... let me tell you our story.

we met at a club, yes a club. it was in Rage. he's a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of mine. the first time i saw him, i thought his hair was awesome. im into hair and he's got one of the best hair ive ever seen. so that was a plus. our first eye contact was across the dance floor. he just got out of the bathroom and i was standing against the wall. and boom, we made eye contact. since then, we were eyeing each other throughout the whole night. we were always trying to make sure that we were dancing where the other one can see. you know you do that too. haha! our first interaction was in the parking lot. he told me he likes my socks. and i offered my hand for a handshake and said 'hi! im jaybe" and with that one handshake was the birth of our love.

it was simple, it was cute, it was love at first sight.. of hair. two and a half years later, we're still together. and two and a half years, especially in the queer world, is pretty long. we make it work, there were times when it was hard but we pull through because we put our differences aside and understand each other. we respect each other and we both know each other's strengths and weaknesses. he never ever try to change me. i love him simply because he loves me for who i am.

i know its hard to find love. real love. i know some people who jump into relationships just because they like the attention. it makes them happy knowing the fact that someone is enfatuated with them. but is it real? why would someone jump into something temporary. it takes time.

time? this upcoming week is really busy for me. i have work from monday to friday. my sister's high school grad is on wednesday. i have disneyland from thursday to saturday. and at the same time, i have to spend as much time as i possibly can with my ollie. he's leaving to the pinas in appx. a week and a half. i'm truly going to miss him. we've been unseperable (literally) for quite some time, and i remember when he went on a cruise for a week and we weren't able to speak with each other, i cried almost every night. empty bed, no morning kiss, no night cuddles. it'll be hard, but im glad hes visiting the pinas. he's never been there and im glad he gets to experience his culture. but still! ill be home missing him, wishing he's here for me to hold him at night. i'll miss the way he looks at me and smiles for no reason. our little disagreements with food. the way he holds my pinky finger or the way we brush our feet together when we sleep. man, i need to stop thinking about it. he'll come back after three weeks and then we'll catch up on the days we missed.

disneyland rocks. it hurts my feet like a bitch, but i love it. it makes me happy seeing those little kids smiling and waving and going "ratatouille!!!" yesterday, my headband came off so i was hella sweating. and it kept dripping on my eye so it looked like i was winking at everybody. haha. and it stings. im getting used to dancing down main street. it seems pretty long but i know ill get use to it.

quick update

I apologize to my readers.. .I haven’t updated for a while now. I’ve just been really busy with work. My days ahead are going to be really busy. I have work tomorrow from 8-1p then I head over to Disney from 2-6p. Sleep then head back to Disney at 4a-8a then head to work again from 9a-5p. Busy? But here’s a quick update…


I went to the beach this weekend. It was really fun. The water was a bit cold at Balboa beach but we got used to it. Here’s some pictures… enjoy!

Update

I haven’t blogged for a long while… but there’s a few new things going in my life right now that I thought I would share…


First, spring semester is over! I’m excited about that. I think I did pretty well in my classes, considering I missed practically half of the semester. Other news about school, I’m in the process of applying into another school. I’m considering of doing nursing rather than business. I know huh? Total change! What I like about this new transition is that I’m going to be doing it in San Diego. Start something new. I heard a lot of great things about SD. I did the whole interview, filling out applications and taking an entrance exam. I must say, I did very well in the exam. I placed at the 93rd percentile and my math was awesome. I got 100% in math, but in Reading/English… that’s another story. Ha! I find out in early July if I get accepted. Cross your fingers!


In other news, I have two jobs now. I work for the Hot Topic Corporate Office. Hot Topic? I was shocked too. I am so not a Hot Topic person. I work as an Inventory Control Coordinator. It’s a fun environment, I can practically wear my pj’s (if I wear them) to work and they wouldn’t care. My other job is in Disneyland in the new Ratatouille Parade starting this June. I’m so excited. I’m a baker! Ha, I totally look the part huh?


I’ve been working on my sister’s montage for her debut. It’s turning out quite well, but im a perfectionist so im never satisfied. I’ve been constantly changing it from time to time but I bet it’s going to turn out well.



Memorial Day weekend was awesome. All I did was eat! Hopefully I don’t gain any weight soon. I haven’t gone to the gym recently, but I’m doing my nightly work out at home. I’ve actually lost a couple of inches on my waist. I’m very proud of that.



I’ve been taking pictures before I go to sleep recently, and I sleep naked or sometimes in my boxers.. so you know what kind of pics those would be.

As for today… me, Ollie and N8 headed down to SD to do more school stuff and look around for some apartments. Me and Ollie found the right one in Carmel Mountain Ranch. We’re very excited in moving in this August. Decorating the apt. would be fun.
